Pattie Lynn Mallette: 'Nowhere But Up, The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom'

Pattie Lynn Mallette had Justin when she was 18 years old. Pattie was on a downward spiral and attempted to commit suicide at age 17, but turned her life around. Pattie's book will be released by Revell, a Christian book publisher.

Revell's editorial director says that Pattie is "living proof" that "there is always room for hope." How original.

Pattie gave a similar cliche sounding quote about how she wants women to be inspired by her so "they can have hope for a better future." This is easy to say considering that her son is already worth over $100 million.

Pattie's book is coming out in September, the same month that Justin releases his second photo book.

You gotta love it when celebrities "write" books that top the New York Times Bestseller list when they had no interest in writing before they were famous and they don't even own more than a handful of books. I'm not singling Pattie out. Just saying!
