Police May Investigate Justin Bieber’s Accuser Mariah Yeater

Justin Bieber‘s accuser, Mariah Yeater, may be staring at a heap of legal trouble.

Yeater claims she and The Biebs had a sexual encounter in a bathroom at the Staples Center in Los Angeles when he was just 16, resulting in her giving birth to his child.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Bieber’s camp calls the allegations “malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false,” and promises it “will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin.”

That’s her legal problem number 1.

Her legal problem number 2, according to Los Angeles Police commander Andrew Smith, is that having sex with someone who’s underage violates California’s statutory rape law.

Of course, no report has been filed about the (made-up) incident, but Cmdr. Smith told the Associated Press that the police could independently look into it since there were numerous media reports about Yeater filing a paternity suit against Bieber.

Under California law, anyone who has sex with a minor (and themselves is not more than three years older) is guilty of a misdemeanor and could face up to a year behind bars.

Gossip Cop does NOT believe her allegations.

Basically, this time around, Yeater’s going to get screwed for real.
