Selena Gomez Raps in MTV EMA Promo (VIDEO)

Selena Gomez will host the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, and she pulls out all the stops for a new promotional spot, which finds her interacting with her hip-hop alter ego.

We already knew Gomez could rap, but she does it with real gusto in the new video, rhyming with self-congratulatory flair.

“Who else better than me to be hosting the show? People know who the eff I is, I’m a pro,” gloats the Disney star, later singing, “Congratulations to me!”

It’s a funny riff on Gomez’s sweetheart image.
