Justin Bieber Named Suspect in Alleged Paparazzo Fight (PHOTOS)

Justin Bieber got into a fight with a paparazzo on Sunday in Calabasas, California, and has since been named a suspect in the alleged battery.

Although some of the details are murky, it seems that while the superstar and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, were leaving a local mall where they had gone to see a movie, Bieber and a photographer had a physical altercation after the shutterbug reportedly blocked the singer’s car as he tried to drive away.

Bieber supposedly then jumped out of the car and scuffled with the photog.

Next, the paparazzo called 911, while other photographers took shots of Gomez trying to calm down Bieber, who was putting a baseball cap and a shoe back on that had fallen off during the alleged incident.

By the time the police and an ambulance arrived to treat the paparazzo, who was complaining of pain to his chest, The Biebs and Gomez had already split.

After being released from a local hospital, the unnamed photographer later filed a report in which he named Bieber as the suspect in what the police are treating as a misdemeanor battery.

The cops would like to now question the singer about the fight.

Gossip Cop has reached out to Bieber’s rep for a comment.

Gomez, however, took to Facebook to write, “THANKS YOU SO MUCH to my fans for always protecting me and being there for me. I can’t thank you guys enough. I’m sorry I had to rush out. Love you guys.”

Justin Bieber trained with Mike Tyson just days before his alleged scuffle with a paparazzo in Calabasas, California on Sunday.

The legendary boxer posted a video of Bieber hitting the punching bag while Tyson coached him at his studio in Las Vegas last weekend, when The Biebs was in town for the Billboard Music Awards.

Bieber certainly looks like he knows what he’s doing.

Justin Bieber Sends Twitter Love to Fans in Wake of Paparazzo Altercation

Justin Bieber has emerged on Twitter in the wake of his alleged physical altercation with a paparazzo — sending love to his fans and staying on message with the music.

Early Monday, following The Biebs and Selena Gomez’s Sunday run-in with the photog, Bieber wrote, “gonna focus on the important stuff. the music. #DieInYourArms hits ITUNES in less than #24HOURS – #BELIEVE.”

He then retweeted a follower who wrote, “Beliebers Protect Justin, until the end <3,” responding, “And I will protect u too. we got each other’s backs. always. i know that. thanks.”

After trading tweets with a series of supporters, Bieber declared, “My fans have always been there. from day 1. they are there for me thru everything. they lift me up. so… i’m there for them. always. #FACT.”

He added, “We came up from the bottom TOGETHER. every step we were doubted. i doubted… but you were always there. #IlovemyBeliebers.”

“So we work hard. we grind it out. nothing is stopping us. we #BELIEVE :)” concluded Bieber.

With well over 22 million Twitter followers, it’s safe to say the singer is feeling plenty of love, even after his holiday weekend troubles.

Justin Bieber’s Alleged Paparazzo Battery Reportedly Turned Over to Prosecutors

Justin Bieber’s altercation with a paparazzi photographer over the weekend is being referred to prosecutors for possible criminal prosecution.

Police are investigating The Biebs for alleged misdemeanor battery after the singer allegedly scuffled with a paparazzo while out with Selena Gomez in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The cops have now turned the case over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, according to TMZ.

It should be noted, however, that the move is pretty standard for cases of this nature.

A spokesperson for the D.A.’s office tells Gossip Cop prosecutors have not yet acted.

Bieber is wanted for questioning but is no longer in California, having jetted off to Norway.
