Justin Bieber is the cover subject for Complex magazine’s 10th anniversary special issue, and we can’t really say he’s never looked better.

In the accompanying boxing-themed photo shoot, The Biebs is bruised and bloody and battered, getting punched in the face and lying sprawled on the canvas.

If you listen closely, you can hear the anguished screams of millions of Beliebers anxious to rush to the pop star’s aid.

When we saw Justin Bieber’s bruised and bloody Complex photo spread on Monday, we had a flashback to another time and another Justin!

Back in Autumn/Winter 2001-02, Justin Timberlake – then a fresh-faced, squeaky-clean pop idol – posed in similar fashion for Arena Homme.

Maybe it’s a generational thing: Once a decade, a maturing megastar named Justin must be beaten bloody for a magazine.

Justin Bieber Complex Magazine Pictures: Bloody, Awesome

After looking at these photos of Justin Bieber getting fake punched and bloodied in Complex magazine, I don't know whether to climax or speak out on violence against women.

Bieber and Complex got really creative for Biebus' new feature and I've got chills. Can someone make this happen IRL? I kid.

Bieber's working on his new album, expected to be released within months, but because he's Justin Bieber, he can cover any magazine in the world for no reason other than he's a beautiful lesbian that sells lots of records. In Justin's interview, he talks about his love of rap and how he'll be doing more rapping on his new record. I'll post some quotes for you over the next few days.
